CVCC Names Mangas as Superintendent

Cuyahoga Valley Career Center (CVCC) announced that former executive director Dave Mangas has been named superintendent. Mangas officially started his duties as superintendent this month and is looking forward to what is ahead for the career center.

Mangas has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Defiance College and a Master's of Education from Ashland University. Prior to coming to CVCC, Mangas served as the school improvement coordinator at C-TEC, and was director at Columbus Downtown High School. Mangas is entering his 20th year in career and technical training education.

The entire CVCC staff and community looks forward to a smooth transition and continuing to focus on giving students many opportunities to be successful in their future.

CVCC serves the public school districts of Brecksville-Broadview Heights, Cuyahoga Heights, Garfield Heights, Independence, Nordonia Hills, North Royalton, Revere and Twinsburg. Student Workshops and Adult Education courses are open and available to all residents of Northeast Ohio. The Career Center is located one mile east of the I-77/Wallings Road exit, opposite Wallings Road on Rt. 21.
