Brighten Your Winter with Plant Quest Webinar Series
By: Rebecca Finneran, Michigan State University Extension - 01/21/2022

Plant Quest is returning for a second season! In 2022, this five-part series will feature nationally known plant experts and is sure to inspire gardeners for the upcoming year. Get personal with the presenters during the live webinars that take place Monday evenings from Jan. 24 through Feb. 21. Each event will also be recorded for convenience and "rewinds."

Expert presenters will explore amazing annuals, unique trees, prairies for pollinators, deer-resistant plants and perennials worth the hunt. First in the lineup is noted horticulturist Paul Zammit, professor at Niagara College, Canada. Zammit will share his enthusiastic journey for the most exciting plants in his talk on Jan. 24, "Perennials Worth the Hunt."

Formerly serving 10 years as director of horticulture at Toronto Botanic Gardens, Zammit is always on the lookout for stand-out perennials. Also an accomplished photographer, participants will journey through his cavalcade of images as he shares his top pick from the treasured lot!

Whether you are a new or seasoned gardener, this series will be something to look forward to on wintery Monday evenings. Live sessions will begin at 6 p.m. EST and will be about one hour plus time for questions. Recordings will be distributed to those who register shortly after the presentation.
